During winter months when my own flower cutting garden is dormant and resting, I love to use flowers which I buy in from other carefully chosen commercial glasshouse growers in Cornwall and Lincolnshire. The flowers at this time of year are likely to be early scented narcissi, daffodils, early tulips, snapdragons, alstroemeria, hyacinths and then in February through to April may also include varieties such as anemone early ranunculus and scabious too.
